Financial planning, mortgages and insurance, all under one roof. No more being passed around.
You have a business to run. Let us take the pension, the mortgage and the cover off your plate.
One team for all of it
We get to know the whole picture.
Tell us what's going on in the business and at home. We'll look at the pension, the mortgage, the cover and the paperwork together, then do the chasing. One team, one plan and one number to call.
We get to know you, your business and everything you already have in place.
We gather the statements, speak to the providers and chase the paperwork, so you don't have to.
We write down what needs to happen, in what order, and who is doing what.
Reviewed every year, and reshaped whenever your life or business changes.
Your pensions and investments still match the plan
The fees and borrowing costs still make sense
Your protection still fits your life
And the plan still reflects the life and business you actually have.
Your time
Your time already has a price. Most people never work it out.
Good advice should save you time as well as help you make better decisions. We deal with the provider calls, repeated forms and paperwork that goes nowhere. Put your own numbers in and see what those hours are costing you.
Tick whatever you currently do yourself
- Reviewing your mortgage rate and comparing the market3
- Remortgaging, including the paperwork and the lender's questions9
- Reviewing pensions and investments, and deciding what to change5
- Comparing life, critical illness and income protection cover4
- Working out whether what you already hold is still suitable4
- Chasing providers, forms, signatures and follow-ups6
- Building a plan across all of it, and keeping it current6
Our own estimates for a typical year, drawn from the work we do, for someone doing each job themselves and doing it properly. Some of it comes round every year and some only when a deal ends. They are a starting point rather than a national statistic, so move the slider if yours are different.
What an hour of your time is worth
Hours a year you lose to life admin
Not sure what your hour is worth? A rough guide is what you take out of the business in a year divided by about 1,800 working hours. Most owners have never done that sum, and the answer tends to be higher than they expect.
On your own figures, that is costing you
4,500
a year, before anyone has given you a single piece of advice.
And this is only the time
A rate that is not quite right
Half a percent sounds like nothing until you multiply it by the term.
Our job: knowing which lenders read accounts like yours favourably, before you apply to one that does not.
Money left where it landed
Not wrong exactly. Just never moved to where it ought to be, for years.
Our job: reviewing it on a cycle, rather than when something has already broken.
Cover chosen on price
The cheapest policy and the right policy are not always the same policy.
Our job: reading the wording, and asking the awkward medical questions properly at the application.
What having someone in your corner means
We are not going to tell you none of that will ever happen, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What advice gives you is somebody whose job it is to notice first, who has to set out in writing why a recommendation suits you, and who is accountable if it turns out it did not. That is the part a comparison site cannot sell you.
These are your figures rather than a claim by us, and nothing here is advice. Taking that administration off you is part of what we do.
Under one roof
Everything we look after, in one place
Your money, your borrowing and your protection, looked after by the same team in the same conversation. Not three firms, three fact finds and three sets of assumptions about what the others have covered.
The main financial decisions, under one roof.
Your life's work, working for you
Your money, your retirement and what you leave behind, planned around the business that pays you.
- Pensions and retirement income
- Investments and ISAs
- Estate and succession planning
- Company money, extracted well
The borrowing decision, taken seriously
Borrowing arranged around how you actually earn, with the lender who reads your accounts the right way.
- Residential and remortgages
- Buy to let and portfolios
- Specialist and self-employed lending
- Borrowing for the business
The part nobody plans for, planned for
Cover for the family and the business, arranged together, so one bad day cannot take out both.
- Life, income and critical illness cover
- Key person and shareholder protection
- Private medical for you and the team
- Cover reviewed as life changes

Run your own numbers
Quick calculators for the questions we hear most, from what the repayments look like to whether the pension is on track. The full set lives under Resources.
Who we are for
Built for people who run the business that pays them
Founders, directors and business owners. That changes the arithmetic, and it changes the advice.
How you pay yourself shapes everything else, so we plan it all together.
The business is the plan. Protecting it, borrowing against it and one day leaving it are one picture.
Sell, hand over or wind down, the decisions that make it work happen long before the day.
Why one firm
We take the paperwork off your hands.
You are across every number in the business. What goes unattended is your own position, and that is not carelessness, it is where the hours went. So we built one team around you, masters of our craft, who fit around your week, deal with the lender and the provider, and chase the paperwork so you never have to.
Masters of our craft
Whatever corner of your financial landscape it sits in, someone at this table does it every day.
Around your week, not ours
Early, late, or a call between meetings. Your diary sets the pace.
Whoever you speak to knows your situation
One shared picture of your finances across the team, so nothing needs explaining twice.
Everything handled, end to end
Providers, lenders, paperwork and the chasing, all dealt with for you.
“Most of our clients did not need another adviser. They needed one who would pick up the phone, know the whole picture and deal with everything. That is what we built.”

Questions
The things people ask us first
What does the first meeting cost?
Nothing. It is a conversation about your circumstances and objectives, and we explain our charges in writing before any advice is given.
Is Lucro independent or restricted?
Restricted, and that applies to investment advice. We advise on a panel of investment solutions rather than the whole of the market, and we set out exactly which products and providers are in scope at the first meeting, before you pay or commit to anything. Our mortgage advice is representative of the whole of the market, other than deals you can only get by going direct to a lender.
Can you help if my income comes from a limited company?
Yes, and it is the situation most of our clients are in. Lenders treat salary plus dividends, retained profit and short trading histories very differently, so the same accounts can produce widely different borrowing outcomes.
Who will I actually deal with?
The adviser you meet stays with you through the work, from the first conversation to the recommendation being put in place. Alongside them you have a dedicated administrator who handles the paperwork, the providers and the chasing, so the adviser is free to advise and none of it lands back on you.
Start with a conversation.
Tell us what prompted you to look and we will call you back.
