For professional introducers

Your client, still your client.

Accountants, solicitors and other professionals introduce clients to us when something sits outside what they do. Here is exactly what happens next, because the risk you are taking is to your relationship, not ours.

Why this comes up

An accountant spots that a director is taking money out of a company in a way that will cost them later. A solicitor is doing the probate and realises nobody ever looked at the protection. A client asks a question and it is just outside the line.

You could name a few firms and leave the client to choose, or introduce them to a firm whose work you know and trust.

Two professionals having a conversation

What happens when you introduce someone

01

We call them, quickly

Usually the same day, always within two working days. Nothing damages a referral faster than the client feeling passed along and then forgotten.

02

If we are not the right answer for them we will say so, and we will tell you the same thing.

03

You hear back

With the client's permission, we tell you what happened and what we recommended, so you are not left wondering and you are not blindsided at the next meeting.

What we will not do

We will not cross-sell your client the services you already provide. We will not take over the relationship. We will not put them on a marketing list without asking them first.

If we think another firm is better placed than us, we will tell you that too. An introduction we handle badly costs you far more than it earns us.

The regulatory part, briefly

Lucro Group Limited is an Appointed Representative of Quilter Financial Services Limited, so any formal introducer arrangement is documented and sits under our principal. The terms and responsibilities are written down, so both sides know where they stand.

In practice most introductions start informally, with a conversation about whether we are the right fit for the kind of clients you look after. If a formal arrangement makes sense after that, we will walk you through what it involves before anyone signs anything.

Start with a conversation

We will explain what we do, where we are a good fit and where we are not, so you can decide whether you would introduce a client.

Get in touch

If it helps to see the detail before you introduce anyone, here is what we do on financial planning, on mortgages and on insurance, and how our advice process runs from the first meeting onwards.

A different kind of introduction

When the client is the whole team.

If your client is an employer, a financial wellbeing workshop can be a practical way to support their people and begin a wider benefits conversation.

We work with accountants, solicitors, fractional HR professionals and other advisers who want a trusted financial planning partner around the businesses they support. See the employer and HR offer.
