Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this site. Here is the standard we are working to, what we know is not perfect yet, and how to tell us when something does not work for you.

The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA. That is the benchmark used across the United Kingdom public sector and it is the one we hold ourselves to, even though as a private firm we are not required to.
Financial advice is exactly the kind of information people need to be able to read carefully, so this matters more here than it would on a brochure site.
What we have built in
Keyboard and screen readers
Every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard, focus is always visible, and there is a skip link to jump past the navigation.
Contrast and text
Body text meets the 4.5 to 1 contrast ratio against its background. Text resizes without breaking the layout, and nothing important is conveyed by colour alone.
Structure
Headings run in order so a screen reader can navigate by them, images carry alternative text, and decorative artwork is marked as decorative so it is not read out.
Motion
Animation is subtle by design, and if your device is set to reduce motion we switch it off rather than merely slow it down.
What we know is not perfect
We would rather say this plainly than claim the site is flawless. Documents we publish as PDFs may not be fully tagged for screen readers, and material supplied by our principal or by product providers is outside our control. If you need any document in a different format, ask and we will get it to you.
Getting information another way
If you would find it easier to have something in large print, in plain text, read aloud over the phone, or discussed in person rather than read, tell us and we will do it. That applies to advice documents as much as to this website. It is not a favour and you do not need to explain why.
Tell us when something does not work
If any part of this site is difficult to use, email office@lucro.co.uk or call 020 3751 5680. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will come back to you within five working days.
